Yes, it's a new year and I have so much to keep me looking forward! I am happy to announce a few upcoming events.
First of all, I'll be hanging six large canvases in a joint public art installation this week at The City of Novato Offices starting January 18th through March 15th, 2018.
Also, I am nervous and excited to announce that I will be selling/displaying my work at the Marin Open Studios this May. It's my first time trying something like this, but I think I'll be ready in time...guess i need to get back to my easel! :)
Stay tuned, and thanks for your support and encouragement,
Hello Family, Friends and New Friends:
The last two years have been good ones. I clearly have not updated my blog, but I have been busy with painting and have been working to build the business end of my real-world and online presence. I have also been staying happily busy in my personal life and am pleased to see my adult kids blazing their new paths and forging new adventures! Seattle, WA and Krakow, Poland better get ready- because my/our kids are on the scene!
I am also happy to report that I have continued to be in great health. I still have no signs of return of either of my cancers ~ Praise God! It has been 6 years last month, that I started the rollercoaster of Chemo/ surgery/ radiation treatment. It has already been more than three years since my second cancer was discovered and treated. I take all of this to mean that for whatever reason, God has a plan for my life to continue so I BETTER GET BUSY and not waste time! :)
Over the next few months, I plan to work on the six canvases that I have started. Along the way, I will post progress pics on Instagram and Facebook. I welcome your feedback.

I am enjoying a warm and sunny fall season in the San Francisco Bay Area! It should prove perfect weather to get me into the studio or outside painting on the deck.
Please post and comment.
Hello Dear Guest!
This site has been five years in the making. My dream has long been to make my art work available for sale online, but two cancer diagnoses intervened. Through prayer and the help of my family and friends, I survived chemotherapy, radiation treatment, and 6 surgeries.
Now I feel stronger, tougher, and braver than ever, and the doctors say there is "No Evidence of Cancer." Praise God for Second and Third chances! Even more, heart damage from chemotherapy has resolved enough to remove the need for medications that slowed me down.
This Thanksgiving season my heart is full of gratitude for blessing of health and the love and support I have received from our Heavenly Father, family, and friends. I am thankful for the freedom my independent daughters and husband affords me to paint, and I am excited for the chance to create and offer more pieces to enrich others’ living spaces.
My plan is to blog and post new pics regularly. Please drop me an email if you would like to join my contact list.
My Best, Nancy
about the artist
I am a two-time, miraculously healed cancer survivor, with a passion for life, color and painting. My current chosen medium are oils paints which are brushed on canvas. I paint in a semi-realistic fashion, with a soft painterly style, which means you can see my brushstrokes!
